2012 BET Award for Best Gospel Goes to Yolanda Adams

2012 BET Awards celebration was held last night, July 1, 2012, in Los Angeles. The night was hosted by actor Samuel L. Jackson.

The winner of the 2012 BET Award in Best Gospel became Yolanda Adams. Adams received the award for the first project that was done through her label. After Adams received the ward, she encouraged everyone who has dreams in their hearts but is discouraged by others, that she's the living proof that "you can do anything that God placed inside of you". Adams also thanked her co-workers and in-house family.

Lastly, Yolanda Adams challenged everyone in the room to make sure to use their gifts responsibly, because the world, their 'babies' are watching and many wants to become like them.
