VaShawn Mitchell's new album Created 4 This will release August 28, 2012. The album was recorded live in Mitchell's hometown Harvey, IL. The album will also be released in a Deluxe Edition CD and DVD which will feature 13 songs with 3 videos of live performances, and behind the scene footage.

The first single from Created 4 This is "Turning Around for Me".

VaShawn Mitchell became well known for his single "Nobody Greater" from his previous album Triumphant. Mitchell received 2 Grammy plus two Dove Award nominations for the album and the single.
