"The Bible" Series on History Channel: Satan Looks like Obama On Purpose?

Since episode #3 of "The Bible" series aired last night on The History Channel, there has been a new interesting question arise.
Did their visual portrayal of Satan intentionally resemble President Obama? The Satan character only was on display in one scene, when satan is testing Jesus in His 40 days in the desert. Satan inititally appears as a snake, but then turns into human like form with a black robe cover his body and his head (similiar to something in Star Wars) and his face a dry grey color.

Twitter and all of the web blew up last night after the scene with people asking the same question after noticing the resemblance between Obama and the actor playing Satan, Mehdi Ouzaani.
The producers Mark Burnell and wife, Roma Downy responded to the buzz.
"This is utter nonsense," say exec producers Burnett and Downey in a joint statement. "The actor who played Satan, Mehdi Ouzaani, is a highly acclaimed Moroccan actor. He has previously played parts in several Biblical epics - including Satanic characters long before Barack Obama was elected as our President."
Downey added, "Both Mark and I have nothing but respect and love our President, who is a fellow Christian. False statements such as these are just designed as a foolish distraction to try and discredit the beauty of the story of The Bible."
The History Channel adds in a statement: "History Channel has the highest respect for President Obama. The series was produced with an international and diverse cast of respected actors. It's unfortunate that anyone made this false connection. History's The Bible is meant to enlighten people on its rich stories and deep history."
