Movie 'Sparkle' starring American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and superstar Whitney Houston now in theaters.

Jordin Sparks who plays the main role in the movie - Sparkle, won American Idol's 6^th season at the age of 17. Sparks became the youngest winner of American Idol. Jordin Sparks' self titled debut album released in 2007 and was certified platinum.

February 11, 2012, marks the day when the world lost a superstar Whitney Houston who tragically passed away. In the movie, Houston plays a tough single mother of musical prodigy Sparkle.
