Malaco to Release Jekalyn Carr's "Greater is Coming"

Powerhouse teen singer and speaker  Jekalyn Carr's record label, Lunjeal Music Group , has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Malaco Music Group for the release of her upcoming album "Greater is Coming" in Spring 2013. Jekalyn's hit single and title track "Greater is Coming" is impacting radio stations across the U.S. and is currently in the Top 20 on Billboard's Top Gospel radio airplay charts.

"We are very excited about Jekalyn," says Malaco's president, Tommy Couch, Jr. whose legendary label is home to award winning artists like the Georgia Mass Choir, Maurette Brown Clark and Lexi.  "We welcome (Jekalyn's) youthfulness and energy to our family of labels and we look for her to lead the next generation of great gospel artists."

At such a young age, Jekalyn has already gained a wide range of national attention with appearances on The WORD Network, "Atlanta Live" and as a special musical guest at international televangelist Benny Hinn's crusades.  Most recently, Jekalyn was featured in JET Magazine as one of the "Top 10 New Faces You Need to Know." The 15-year-old singer was the youngest and the only teen on JET's exclusive list of "young, gifted and black" professionals at the top of their field and under 40 years old.
