Inspired People/EMI Gospel Releases Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago’s Best of Both Worlds DVD In Stores November 20

Inspired People/EMI Gospel recording artists Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago will release the Best of Both Worlds DVD-the companion piece to the CD-in stores and online November 20. The Best of Both Worlds CD debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart and remained at #1 for three consecutive weeks.

The Best of Both Worlds DVD is a powerful Sunday Morning worship experience, which includes performance selections of 11 songs featured on the CD, including the #1 hit praise and worship anthem "Awesome," which remained at #1 for 14 weeks on Billboard's Hot Gospel Songs chart. The DVD also features b-roll footage, along with a spoken word performance by Jenkins titled "The Best of Both Worlds" (see track listing below). In addition, the DVD includes interview segments and footage of Jenkins and others sharing stories about the legendary Chicago Fellowship Baptist Church history and its rich musical legacy. The DVD was recorded at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL.

On the heels of a successful summer tour, Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago's fall appearances included a headline performance at the Catalyst Conference in Atlanta, GA (October 3-5). Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago performed at the opening event, which drew over 13,000 attendees. The Catalyst Conference is America's most influential leadership conference for young leaders. Immediately following the Catalyst conference, Jenkins performed this past weekend at New York's WBLS-FM/WLIB-AM's Circle of Sisters flagship event alongside Karen Clark Sheard, Kierra Sheard, VaShawn Mitchell, Jonathan Nelson, Myron Butler and Bishop Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Choir. This Wednesday, October 10, Jenkins and Fellowship will open for the King's Men Tour at the United Center in Chicago.
