Andrew Peterson Harvests His First Batch of Honey

About a year ago, Peterson borrowed his father's bee boxes and colonized them.

Announcing his plans to keep the bees, Peterson blogged, "You may soon find for sale in the Rabbit Room little jars of organic honey bundled with the CDs. You may also see me in concert with weird little welts on my face."

After a year of keeping bees, it paid well off! Andrew Peterson just harvested his first batch of honey. Peterson shared his joy through the tweet, "Almost 20 lbs! A glorious day."

Centriticy Music will soon release Andrew Peterson's new project Light for the Lost Boy. The album is scheduled to drop August 28, 2012. The release show will take place in Collins Alumni Auditorium, Lipscomb University, One University Park Drive, Nashville, TN on September 21.
