'Celebrate Brooklyn' with Mary Mary, Free Concert and Gospel Parade

BRIC, with its wide range of art such as media, performing arts, community media programs, and contemporary art has been enriching Brooklyn since 1979. A non-profit art organization, BRIC revitalizes Prospect Park and provides programs in arts education.

Celebrate Brooklyn is a time of music, dance word and fun at the Prospect Park Bandshell. Today, June 21^st, 2012, Prospect Park Bandshell will host Gospel artist Mary Mary at 7:30pm with free admission.

The opening act for Mary Mary will be Queens native and BET's Sunday Best finalist, Latice Crawford.

Prior to the Mary Mary concert, a Gospel Parade will be held starting at 6:30pm. Join the Gospel Parade at Washington Park at 5th Ave and 4th Street. Lafayette Inspiration Ensemble will lead a gospel sing-a-long parade. The Gospel Parade will march through the streets of Park Slope to the Bandshell. The Gospel Parade is presented in association with Make Music New York.
