Is Angie Miller American Idol's New Kelly Clarkson?

Angie Miller performed "I Surrender" last week for the Top 10 American Idol episode, and proved she's not going anywhere. In fact many believe Angie Miller and fellow finalist Candice Glover are the cream of the season 12 crop.
Last week contestants had to choose songs from past Idols. Angie Miller chose "I Surrender", a Kelly Clarkson performance from season 1. Angie Miller received high praise from all four judges for her performance and style.

Bubble-gum diva Nicki Minaj told Miller her, "legs are giving me [Minaj] everything I need in life today. I love the way you walk in heels."
The flamboyant judge then went on to say though Angie Miller's performance was good, she does prefer the New England native behind the piano. I will admit Angie Miller's piano performances are always special because they stand out from the usual walk-and-sing routine. Miller also stands out because she revealed during the auditions she has 40% hearing loss in her left ear and 20% loss in her right.
Apparently Angie Miller's hearing problems didn't get in the way of performing songs from Jessie J, Beyonce and Celine Dion. Instead what Angie Miller needs to worry about is Candice Glover, Amber Holcomb, and Kree Harrison, who have all received standing ovations from the judges and audience alike. All season long those 4 girls have been jockeying for front-runner. If Angie Miller and her "everything" legs want to win, she's going to have to bring it every week from here on out.
American Idol airs Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on FOX. Tune in this week for "Songs from The Beatles".
