If you're an obsessive tweeter this is definitely the app for you. It features a very intuitive interface that allows you to switch between timelines quickly. Tweetbot allows you to sync automated tweets and messages. It has mute filters that let you block someone's messages without unfollowing them.
WhatsApp Messenger ($0.99)
It's essentially a message app that can be used on all smartphones. A one-time download fee allows you and your friends to message as much as you want with no additional cost.
