Word Music Publishing recently celebrated the signing of acclaimed songwriter Scott Davis to their already prominent roster of award-winning writers.
“We’re so excited to have Scott join the Word Music Publishing family,” says Word Music Publishing Vice President Chad Segura. “Even though he’s already experienced some great successes in his career thus far, I fully believe that he has only scratched the surface of what he's capable of as a writer and a producer. We feel honored to partner with him in this next phase of his career.”
In addition to receiving three ASCAP awards in 2008, including “Song Of The Year,” Davis has written and/or produced cuts with numerous acts including Rush Of Fools, Jessie Daniels, Alex M (star of MTV’s “Laguna Beach”), Ricky Lynn Gregg, The Steven Sisters, Scott Krippayne and Marsh Hall. The multi-talented songwriter shares in the honor of “Most Played Song of 2007” with the release of Rush Of Fools hit song, “Undo,” which Davis produced and co-wrote with the band’s leading duo Wes Willis and Kevin Huguley.
