Monday April 30th 2012, Grammy Award nominee and winner of 6 Stellar Award trophies VaShawn Mitchell recorded live his next new release. Songs of empowerment and inspiration were recorded live at Mitchell’s hometown, Harvey, IL, where he was also honored with a street carrying his name.

The live record will be named ‘Created4This’ and will include Mitchell’s signature sound of praise and worship music featuring some of the great names in Gospel music industry such as Israel Houghton and Kierra Sheard.

Mitchell hopes to “build upon and continue with a sound that started people universally singing and worshipping regardless of denomination or background.”

Mitchell’s previous 2012 release ‘Triumphant’ was a success including a #1 single ‘Nobody Greater’ which topped radio chards for several weeks. His forthcoming album is expected to release later this year.
