Cross Movement Records is pleased to announce that GRAMMY and Dove Award-nominated hip-hop group The Cross Movement has been nominated for a 2008 Stellar Award in the category of "Rap/Hip-Hop Gospel CD of the Year" for their latest project, HIStory: Our Place In His Story. The 23rd Annual Stellar Awards will take place January 12, 2008 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn., and is the largest gospel music awards show in America, bringing together some of the most noted singers and celebrities in the world.

On HIStory, The Cross Movement (consisting of members The Tonic, Phanatik, T.R.U.-L.I.F.E. and The Ambassador), take their cue from the writer of Hebrews, who tells in chapter 11 about a host of people who faithfully played their role in the story being told by God, and stands to answer the call of the 12th chapter of Hebrews which says, "having such a great cloud of witnesses that have gone before us, let us run the race that is set before us."
