When Hope Speaks, the latest recording from New England-based pop/rock quintet Out Of Hiding, is slated to bow March 15. Helmed by Grammy-nominated producer Brent Milligan, the four-song EP features the original selections “Door of Heaven,” “Name,” “Overcome” and “Reasons Why.”

Penned by the band, each song echoes the mission and purpose of Out Of Hiding, to reach a new generation with the Hope of Christ while fostering discipleship and community among believers.

“The more we’ve connected with people, the more we run into the themes of emptiness, fatherlessness, depression, guilt and bitterness,” says Justin Kendrick, Out Of Hiding founder and lead vocalist. “The answer is always the cross of Jesus. Hope has spoken through the cross for all eternity to breathe life back into humanity, and these songs chronicle the journey of that Truth in the human heart.”

Since their formation in 2008, Out Of Hiding has performed throughout the northeastern United States. An integral arm of Holyfire Ministries, the band appears at the organization’s events, as well as at churches and other venues.

“Out Of Hiding carries the torch and heartbeat of Holyfire Ministries,” Kendrick says. “We believe in the potential of the church to change cities, regions and nations, and it’s often a song that carries the spirit of change.”

The work of Holyfire Ministries includes the annual Brave Generation Conference in April. Designed to spark spiritual awakening in the lives of believers, as many as 1,500 people are anticipated at this year’s event in Plymouth, Massachusetts. In addition, Holyfire’s Campus Awakening Project, a six-week outreach held at colleges, is also a major focus for the ministry, while the City Impact short-term mission initiative seeks to train participants to live their faith in tangible ways.

Kendrick is the author of Living For Another World (2009) and Vessels of Honor (2008) and is also a speaker and evangelist. He and his wife, Chrisy, founded the multi-faceted Holyfire Ministries in 2005.
