Jars of Clay turned 18 years this year and their creative force was released again just a few weeks ago when they announced that they are working on their next album.
In May, they were setting up to write and arrange new songs. This week, their friend Ben Mize reunites with Jars of Clay to co-work with the band on new songs. Mize previously played drums for their records If I Left The Zoo, Redemption Songs and Who We Are Instead.
Jars of Clay enjoys getting creative with their old friends and commented, “Our friend, Ben Mize is back with us this week, fleshing out some of the songs for our next record! We had Ben play drums on most all of our Zoo record, Redemption Songs and Who We Are Instead. It's good to be creative with an old friend. :)”
Jars of Clay’s previous project
The Shelter focused on community. What will be the theme of their next album? There is quite a way to go and many things to be done for Jars of Clay before the album releases. Stay tuned to find out the name and release date of the record.

Jun 08 Polk Theatre Lakeland, FL
Jun 09 Central Broward Regional Park Lauderhill, FL
Jun 21 Riley Center-MSU Meridian, MS
