How exactly does a person remain joyful, loving, kind and… faithful to God, in the 21st Century? Afterall, we cannot deny that the events unfolding before us are very saddening. We are a people of many tears, just like the peoples before us. The degrees of societal problems that we face are at all-time highs, and climbing higher and higher, with each passing hour! However, however, however; among the troubles and sadness that encompass us today, there is such an amazingly beautiful quality present in the people that are able to love, and trust God through all things – the good, the bad, the tragic, the ugly, the sad, and the glad! This quality is sourced in nothing other than the unquenchable Fire of God. It is in the presence of the Spirit of the Lord, that questions are answered in all truth, and the fruit of the Spirit bloom. With the Fire of God present in his life, the promises of God fueling this Fire, and help from “acclaimed songwriter/producer Steve Hindalong;” Aaron Crider has whipped up something “golden delicious” for the world of worship, and the world-at-large, through: THE CHANGE (Released: Sept., 2010)!

Aaron Crider has the name and worship patterns of a high priest – and, from what I see and hear – Brother Crider is a man with a heart of much compassion. He is a musician, in every sense of the word, and with, THE CHANGE, we hear worship from a man self- professedly founded on John 4:23-24. As Crider knows, to worship in Spirit and truth is an experience like no other. We live for it, we cry for it, and we die for it, amen! Crider believes the Spirit of God shall, and does reign among us, and for all who know this truth: we shall rejoice in this, forever and ever, amen!

But – wait, admittedly, there is even more Holy Ghost hotness associated with Brother Crider. In my opinion, Aaron Crider is just a secret code name for “Baby Axl Rose” (Of Guns N’Roses, of course!)! He definitely carries a voice tone similar to Mr. Rose; and a song or two on this album actually give me U2, Goo Goo Dolls, and Jars of Clay vibes: these are good, good vibes! Of course the sounds of THE CHANGE are all exclusively topped off with the spiritually delicious, “Aaron Crider Cider” (a.k.a., the Blood of Jesus Christ)! Yes, Aaron Crider knows how to ROCK praises unto the King of Ages, in spirit and truth! Truly, Crider’s style of worship unto our King says to my heart: “Let’s rock and roll with our Heavenly Father, no matter what - until the very end of the ages!” And truly, my spirit and my heart say, “Yes, yes, yes,” to that. How about yours?

Also, I am truly overjoyed to report that Aaron Crider is a man of “God’s politics.” In fact, he says about this album: “THE CHANGE might be the only album truly inspired by [the’08] presidential campaign… No one person should we put our faith and trust in. That is just beyond earthly power…” I do willingly agree with this political view, very much so, I do. There is great spiritual depth to what Crider is saying with this album. There is only one man under heaven and earth that can heal nations, save souls, help us, and guide us; and His name is Jesus the Christ. All Hail King Jesus, we shall – and, we do!

And – finally, I will mention that Crider has lost much in his life, as we all have. And I will follow that fact of his life up with this fact: no matter what Aaron Crider has been through, his music sends nothing less than vibes of peace, love, joy, truth, and compassion to the world. This warms my heart to a degree that I cannot even try to explain. The world is so cold today; so, personally, I am very thankful for the brothers and sisters of today, that keep their hearts kindled, brightly, and kindly by the all-consuming Fire of our Lord Jesus. Honestly, the strength of God is upon Aaron Crider’s life, voice, and sounds in ways that bring tears of pure joy to my eyes and heart. Crider’s love for God’s children, and his work for justice for our children (against human trafficking) is, beyond commendable! It is a true blessing.

Aaron Crider is one strong brother; with cool Holy Ghost vibes and tunes, and a fabulous degree of Holy Ghost hotness in his heart. Years ago, Bon Jovi was singing about “livin’ on a prayer,” – and, rightfully so. Today, Aaron Crider is singing about livin’ on the promises of God, and in God’s eyes, and in my heart and spirit - that makes Aaron Crider one of “dem good apples.” He may have some bruising caused by the losses that he has endured, but through his travels in the “hills and valleys” of life, Crider’s message to the world is GOLDEN DELICIOUSNESS, through Jesus justice! And his gain is all in THE CHANGE. It sounds like it’s “Crider Cider” time! Check this album out, and rock THE CHANGE!
