2012 winner Phillip Phillips is more soft-spoken about his Christian faith compared to other "Idol" finalists such as Colton Dixon who actually sang a passionate worship song on stage and season 10 winner Scotty Mccreery who never failed to wear his signature cross necklace on stage. Despite not hearing much about his beliefs, Phillips imparted some "wisdom" to Christian teenagers attending a youth camp this week in Georgia.
Phillips was expected to show up at the upcoming Epoch 2012 youth camp part of Crossroads Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA but could not join due to schedule conflicts. To the youth pastor of the church, Phillips tweeted the following messages to pass on to the youth camp kids.
"Don't talk to strangers!! hahaha jk but have a blast and meet new people! oh and remember that what happens there doesn't have to stay there...keep the faith even after camp."
