Hawk Nelson announced a new lead singer and to celebrate that, the band will have a free concert in Nashville, TN. The concert with the name “The Unveiling of the New Hawk Nelson” will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 12th and Porter starting at 5:30pm. The purpose of the concert is to debut the new lineup of the band.
The new lead singer is Jon Steingard, who was with the band for eight years as the band’s guitarist.
Steingard commented, “Moving forward, I couldn’t be more excited to step into the role of lead singer.”
The band is currently working on their new album directly in Nashville.
Hawk Nelson keep their fans in the loop via their social networks, sharing that they are “Voting on the songs for the new Hawk Nelson album” and they had a “Great first day of rehearsals. Jammed through 3 new songs today."
