LifeThirst Records/Indie Extreme recording artist, Laura Kaczor (pronounced kuh-ZOR), will be showcasing her national debut release, Love Enough, on Monday, January 17 at The Listening Room, 209 10th Avenue South, Suite 200, Nashville, Tennessee. Appearing with a full band, the showcase will begin at 6:00pm. Admission is free. Kaczor’s project, a 10-song outing produced by six-time Gospel Music Association Dove Award-winner, Don Koch, is distributed by Universal Music Christian Group/ Fontana Distribution. The CD first released digitally in March of this year and physical product hit stores shelves on September 14, 2010.
Love Enough is a mixture of Adult Contemporary/Soft AC melodies with inspiring lyrics bathed in Kaczor’s beautiful Sarah McLachlin-esque vocals. Kaczor co-penned nine of the ten songs on the release with hit tunesmiths Don Koch, Brian White, Carl Cartee and Chad Cates. For the week ending December 3, the single earned the #1 spot for Christian Music Weekly’s (CMW) “On the Verge” and #3 on Billboard’s “New & Active” listings for Christian Soft AC/Inspiration. With charts frozen until after January 1, “Invisible” is sitting just outside the Top 20 on Billboard and Top 25 for CMW.
A Pennsylvania native turned Nashville resident, Kaczor is an accomplished recording artist, songwriter, worship leader and speaker with extensive performance credentials in both ensembles as well as a solo artist. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Kaczor served as worship leader for Penn’s Campus Crusade for Christ and as a soloist in “Full Measure,” the university’s Christian a capella group. This led to a seven year role as worship leader in “Jesus Fest,” a quarterly northeast-region festival in that drew more than 1,000 youth and young adults from over 150 churches. Kaczor is also the founder of LifeThirst worship conferences and Lift-Up U-niversity girls conferences. More information on these events can be found at http://www.laurakaczor.com/.
