With the Dallas Fort Worth Area experiencing severe weather with several tornadoes hitting the ground, beloved Christian band Addison Road pleas for fans prayers via social media as they are in the middle of the dangerous situation.

Known for being based out of Dallas, lead singer, Jenny Simmons updated fans about the deadly peril.

"It is literally eating the city. Watching power lines exploding- densely populated areas- entire communities being swallowed..."

The National Weather Service has described at least two of the several tornadoes as "large and extremely dangerous." Tornadoes most like to hit flat or open land, but this storm has been effecting many residential areas.

"Please pray. Tornado on the ground in DFW has been on ground for 15 minutes. It is literally destroying highly populated areas. It's bad-," said Simmonds.

Please pray for this band as they weathering this storm!

Not just asking for prayer for their personal safety, Simmons asks for prayer for many others who are feeling the brunt of this storm..

"Watching houses disappear- 18 wheelers flying in sky like car toys. It's still on the ground. 2 new ones on ground. Many will die. Pray."
