This past Tuesday, Christian contemporary recording artist Chris August recorded a video to update all his fans about his health.

Several weeks ago, Chris August had a skateboarding accident during which his head was injured. He spent several days in a hospital in Nashville.

August expressed in his video that he loves skateboarding and that he actually never fell off the skateboard before. This was his first time! He said he couldn't remember anything and that he woke up in a hospital bed. He rode an electric skateboard, with no helmet on, and there was some construction on the road. That's all he could remember.

August expressed that the reason he made the video update was to show appreciation to everyone who prayed for him. August also testified that the Christian music industry is not only an industry but it's also a community that cares.

In the video, he also expressed his gratitude towards the people who sent him notes to encourage him, prayed for him and brought him food.

August said, “It's just been so awesome for me to realize that I need to totally rely on God in these moments.”
