Grammy Award nominee and multiple Dove Award winner Brandon Heath and one of the most successful songwriters in Christian music industry Jason Ingram will host the 5th annual Love Your Neighbor’ Concert at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, Tenn. Heath and Ingram will be joined by artists Bebo Norman and Christopher Williams. The concert starts Tuesday, May 22 at 7PM and will benefit the Young Life Capernaum organization.

“Our young friends in Capernaum have a rare bravery, the kind that transcends disability and the ignorance of others,” says Heath. “They’re inspiring to guys like me. It is the love and commitment of Young Life’s Capernaum and ultimately Christ that help these unique individuals become known and loved. It’s a very similar story to mine, in that, Young Life helped me come know Christ and loved me in spite of my own imperfections. That’s why I connect with this ministry and these special friends.”

Young Life Capernaum exists with the mission to impact the life of the community through providing opportunities for students with medical and physical incapacity. The program of Young Life Capernaum focuses on giving chances to youth with mental and physical disabilities to experience adventure, friendship and challenge their limits through camps and many other activities to be all God designed them to be.

This will be the 5th year of ‘Love Your Neighbor’ Concert. Looking back at its history, in 2008, $20,000 was raised for victims of tornado in Nashville area. In 2009, ‘Love Your Neighbor’ fully supported David, a local Centennial High School student to get his necessary eye surgery, while in 2010, more than $61,000 was raised through the event for the flood damaged El Shaddai Church. And just last year, ‘Love Your Neighbor’ supported families from Alabama that were affected by a tornado.

Brandon Heath shares, “These events are so important to me because community is so important to me. I’m grateful for the people who have come out to support their neighbors alongside Jason and me and hope to get to do these for years to come.”

The ‘Love Your Neighbor’ Concert is a beautiful way to unite the community and make it active to reveal the love of Christ, and thus repeat the miracle of Jesus by taking 2 small loaves of bread and 5 fish to feed many. Will you participate in this beautiful miracle too?
