Kyle Kupecky announced his departure from the band early May 2012 to pursue a solo career. Shortly after, the fresh-faced Joey Stamper was
announced as the newest member to join Anthem Lights on May 14, 2012.
The group posted on Facebook, "Making music today! (and for the first time with Joey Stamper!) We're working on a cover song... Can anyone guess which song???"
Fans responded with diverse guesses from country singer Carrie Underwood to Christian band For King and Country. Great anticipation was shown from fans eager to hear more music from the foursome. "Yah!!!! Can't wait to hear it!!! So excited!!! :D Go Joey!! :)," wrote Anyi Bruhn.
The group constantly is active
