Addison Road: Stories
To describe this album in a few words: life stories in songs.
'Stories' contains 10 tracks:

Fight Another Day
Change in the Making
This Little Light of Mine
Won’t Let Me Go
Need You Now
Don’t Wait
Where It All Begins
Who I Am In You
Show Me Life
My Story

Stories opens with a unique song for Addison Road. Never before had they recorded a song written for them by another artist. But when TobyMac came calling with “Fight Another Day”, the band couldn’t pass it up. Ironically, when the track was recorded they had no idea how accurately the lyrics would soon describe their own lives. The band understood the song more acutely than they could have ever hoped for when their rented RV and most of their possessions burned to the ground. That same night they stood on stage and found a resolve only God can bring while performing this verse: “Will you step aside when it all falls down, and watch it burn away? … Will you walk away when the fire gets hot? Or fight another day?”
The song’s optimistic outro concludes a strong message of encouragement and finds the band on the other side of a season of trials with their heads to the sun.

The second song is 'Change In The Making' that speaks about God's ability to make things new, even renew us. He is the one who makes things whole, including His children.

'This Little Light of Mine' carries the message that life might not always be easy but through it all God is with us and he has given us a light inside us.
“This Little Light of Mine” speaks communally to parent and child, and not surprisingly, thanks to its familiar chorus, it has already become a concert favorite.

'Won’t Let Me Go' - The band members relate to this song so deeply as they went through a lot of difficulties. But the focus of the song is on His whisper that gently reminds us 'I will not let you go'. Remember: even when everything breaks, everything is crazy he carries us through. It's an encouraging song.

The song that was added to 'Stories' among the last ones is 'Need You Now'. It starts with soft guitar and adds on Jenny's voice. You might know this song from their previous indie EP from 2005 'Always Loved You'.
Ryan Gregg says he wrote it when he felt like he was at the bottom of the barrel. He continues, describing it as a declaration to God: “I’ve tried, it hasn’t worked. This is all that I am, God. It’s not great. Will You take me? I need You.”

'Don't Wait' starts with the synth and elevates beats-per-minute that accompany the words. 'Don't Wait' is a song of a challenge: “Don’t wait. Don’t wait on decisions related to salvation, but then don’t wait to live, to do what God has called you to do.”

Through this album Addison Road share their 'Stories' that we all can relate to. Addison Road is here to serve through their music, to encourage you on your path of life, path of faith. To me, the focus of the album is to point out how God is involved in our lives and our stories and that without Him we can not survive, but with Him we can fight another day and become victorious!

About Addison Road:
The stories sound like happenstance, like coincidence. A band without a name is assembled at the last minute, comprised of college friends and acquaintances, because a gig has suddenly become available. Somehow, the members “click” and the music is noteworthy. Years later, the band has radio success and Dove Award nominations. While writing for a new album, they are contacted by TobyMac, who just happens to offer a song with this lyric:
“Will you walk away when the fire gets hot, or fight another day?”
Weeks after recording the song, the band must live it when the rented RV containing all their possessions burns to the ground. Coincidence? Happenstance? Certainly not. The history of Addison Road is a stirring series of stories that fit together so well, God’s signature is undeniable.
